1. What opt in's are required on the checkout for subscriptions?
Shopify places a checkbox on the checkout that customers have to check to place the order as seen in the image below. There is also a link to the subscription policy added on the checkout that the customer may click on.

How does that work with accelerated payment methods such as Shop Pay, Google Pay, or Apple Pay?
As Shopify updates their subscription API to include accelerated payment methods, we add those payment methods to our product roadmap for inclusion. See more information from Shopify here.
3. Can customers purchase subscription products using Shop Pay installments?
No, Shopify's documentation states here customers can't buy subscription products using Shop Pay Installments.
